Field Operator:
Salary based upon 40 hour week depending on experience and Licensing
Work Week Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Overtime at 1.5 times hourly wage over 40 hours worked
Annual reviews and raises
100% Company paid health, dental, vision, cancer and life policy
6% Company paid retirement SEP program
Company vehicle, drive to and from work
Emergency on call nights and weekends on a rotating schedule
Rotating Well checks on weekends, rotates between employees. Paid at 4 Hours per day OT rate
90 day probation period, full benefits after. Including 10 vacation, 5 sick, major holidays and 2 float days.
Job Description, Requirements and Qualifications:
Meter Reading
Leak Repairs
Water line extensions
Mowing and weed eating
Lifting items up to 75 lbs. to waist level
Walking on hard and uneven surfaces
Working on ladders and climbing ladders, fences and gates
Light handyman work
Frequent walking, bending, squatting and kneeling
Must be able to dig holes and trenches by hand
Must have clean driving and criminal record
Must be able to work with the public and maintain favorable appearance
Must be able to take direction and follow instructions from Supervisors
Must be able to operate computers, I-Pad, smart phone and other electronics
Routine & preventative repairs and maintenance of buildings, grounds and water distribution system as needed and in accordance with operation and maintenance manuals, rules, and local, state, and federal regulations
Monitoring the operation of water system pumps, motors and other equipment.
Accurately reading and recording gauges, dials and other instruments that depict and/or record data.
Must be dependable
Requires weekends and on call work duties
Must be able to respond to emergency situations quickly
Requires work to be performed in the heat, cold, ice, snow, rain and/or extreme weather conditions
Any other tasks and duties assigned by Supervisors
Computer Skills and experience
Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must have Valid Driver’s License and must be insurable to drive company vehicles
Experience in water related field a plus, but not required
Groundwater License not required, D Groundwater license must be obtained within 6 months of hire date, C Groundwater License must be obtained after 2 years of hire date.
C Groundwater License a plus
Position is subject to drug testing and may be required prior to employment
